I bought this for my dog Josie. Coupon from years ago, she tore her "cruciate ligament" - I know dogs call it different, but it's the equivalent of the human cruciate ligament. She had TPLO surgery and has an implant and several screws in her leg. We often notice her licking the spot of her scar. We use sprays like that so she doesn't lick her lips. We tried this one because the cost was a lot lower than the bitter apple spray we got. It's so strong that we have to take her to another room to squirt her leg, sometimes he follows us and we end up tasting him because he's in the air. Pooh! Pooh! This is a bad thing. It definitely makes her stop licking her leg, and that's the whole point. So it works! I just wish it wasn't so strong and I wish we couldn't taste it after spraying. We only gave up spraying once. We're still trying. Sheet!
