After ordering this item, I saw a review from a previous user who said it didn't work with their laptop. I'd like to say that it was most likely a defect in the device itself - or it was an incorrect review to create some sort of gift. The only question I have about this is: is it thicker than the 2018 MacBook Pro itself? Answer: NO! This thing is very light, so it doesn't add much to the weight of your laptop. Plug and play, baby, no problem! Pros: 10/10 Slim 10/10 Thin 7/10 Product Feel (Materials + Durability) - I wish it had a more premium/metallic feel 10/10 Functionality 9/10 Port Accessibility Cons: I'm too picky so I wish me This item had a second HDMI port on the opposite end. When purchasing, consider which ports you need. Others offer ethernet plug-ins that can be swapped out for additional integration, which I'll probably replace with this one after I outgrow it in a few months. Overall, despite my claims, it earned a solid 5 stores.
