Obviously the point of this product is the ability to emit black light, and that's exactly what it is. very good. This is by far the brightest black light I have ever installed. It's so bright it's almost dangerous. Don't look at the LEDs. Just looking at it hurts your eyes! So what do you need to know? This light occupies an area of 208 x 136 inches and illuminates the entire room! The rest of this review covers the annoying factors. So if you just want to know if it works, you have the answer. Already buy. This is a great product. In addition to the goofy, blinding light, there are a few annoyances I should know before buying: • Short power cord - without measuring it, I'd estimate it's only 4 feet long. .• Supplied without mounting screws - not usually a big problem if there weren't the nearest inconvenience that aggravates the pain of this affliction. • Wall Mount Mounting Hole Size - Standard wood screws are too small for the mounting holes. If I had to guess that the holes are about 5/16" in size, I ended up attaching them to the wall with sheet metal screws included in the wall anchors with a large washer to close the gap between the screw head and the diameter of the hole bridge.
