My 8 year old has Crohn’s disease. She needs to take her nutritional drink with her to school so that she can sip on it throughout the day. Since it needs to be kept cold, this product seemed like a better option than having her go to the nurse every hour and missing class. The straps all come off to sort of personalize it to what you need it for. Sometimes she wears it like a crossbody bag, sometimes she attaches it to her backpack. Either way, it keeps her drink cold all day in an uninsulated clear plastic 22oz bottle (we labeled it with vinyl stickers to help her keep track of the hours). The drawstring top comes up over the top just enough to keep the bottle secure. We like to keep it in the freezer the night before so that we don’t need to add ice and risk watering her drink down.
