Review on Formula Energy 205/60 R16 92V summer by Adam Domaski ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like everything, the price and the quality are both ok.

I read reviews before buying, I was most afraid for the formation of hernias. As a result, the car drives well on dry asphalt, at 5. I don’t know about slippage from a place, because I rarely start moving so sharply, once or twice a season. I didn’t notice any endless slippage, as they say, and the tires are not for racing. It doesn't whistle in corners and rings at speed like many tires do. The price is also 5. I also think wear resistance is 5. Maybe 4. When I bought it, I was afraid for hernias, which the owners of rubber write about, and even the last 185/60 tires had hernias. Now took the other 195/50. The profile is lower, the risk of bumps is higher. Expected to drive carefully around the city. As a result, he rushed through the fields, and had to go south. Drove 3500 km round trip, sometimes on a terrible road. I got into a dozen strong pits, and drove 150 km along almost the same road patches - The panel mount cracked, the support died, but even at 195/50 not a single bump popped up, not a single cut! Yes, and for four months the tires practically remained in a state of novya, although they dashed off enough. I can’t say in terms of noise, I didn’t drive expensive tires, I don’t know ideal silence. Of the minuses, for the first time I really felt hydroplaning in deep puddles at speed. If you drive on a wet track, it's okay if there are no holes. But in the city, flying into puddles at speed is dangerous. Also on the ice is a complete zero. Before that, there was kumho. In winter, it held up very well, despite the fact that it was summer. Didn't change for a long time. Here you need it almost immediately. And another minus - it is better not to meddle in the mud. On a dry field, everything is fine, but after a good downpour, the rubber immediately clogs and digs in. A friend on the same car passes where I can not master. Yes, I have been there before. In general, the final score is a solid 4 out of 5. For this price, you should not ask for more.

Pros
  • Price Behavior on dry pavement wear resistance Good balance
Cons
  • Hydroplaning at high speeds At the first snow, immediately change shoes, because. behaves very badly on ice (I don’t consider it a minus for summer tires) Not for dirt
