I bought 3 of these mirrors. I installed one on a Bobcat 863 and the other two on a John Deere 4850. I bent the bracket 90 degrees on all three. On the Bobcat I had to drill holes in the plastic header. The mirror is a little in the way when I go in, but it's easy to avoid when I go out. Probably because I'm standing in front of him so I can see him. They have worked brilliantly for John Deere. The holes lined up perfectly with some of the holes in the head fairing. I removed the two screws in the head fairing and reused those screws to mount the mirror. Mirrors were installed on the right side of the cabin. They could be installed on the left side but would interfere with getting in or out of the cab. But the screw holes on this side are the same distance apart as on the right side.
