Review on Bluecell Rubber Speaker Surround Replacement by Ulysses Fincher

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Do-it-yourself repairs really work with it!

I used a pair of 8" to repair a pair of subwoofer speakers that were over 20 years old. They fit together perfectly and I just glued them with regular wood glue. First I put the edge behind the cone where it is naturally centered and glued the outside edge. Once the glue is dry you can either glue the inside edge behind the cone like I did originally, or carefully pull the edge out from the outside of the cone and glue it in place. The result is excellent. Cleaning the old edges is perhaps the hardest part of the job.
