I purchased these headphones for sound monitoring and in general for working with music and virtual instruments. Not surprisingly, for these purposes, many recommend the M40x model rather than the M50x, since the fiftieth model embellishes and enhances the bass, while the fortieth model has more neutral bass, which is important for an objective assessment of the sound of music. The headphones are very comfortable and even after several hours of continuous work there is no discomfort.
