Finally found the right warm dog coat! No more dirty stomach. My girl has a broad chest but a long back. So we struggled to find a coat that fitted her chest but was neither too long nor too short for her back. It was perfect for her. I also really like the detachable straps as wearing a strap over a coat can be cumbersome and can cause other coats to slip off. For reference, her back is 24 inches, her chest (measured at the widest part of her chest) is 22 inches, and her neck is 13 inches. It also has some plastic under the back zipper which I was concerned about but my bitch doesn't seem to bother me. It's also a bit noisy and makes little grinding noises when she walks in it, but it doesn't bother us in any way. Annoying. It seems to be the nature of the durable nylon it's made of.
