Review on Timex T715BW3 Alarm Clock Radio by April Schol

Not caring about the radio (which sounded like a godsend to me, especially at this price point) this alarm clock had everything I wanted and more. When I plugged it in, the time and date were correct straight away. Living in the Eastern Time Zone, I didn't have to make any adjustments, but once I went through the buttons, they were easy to find and change. The dual alarms work well and are easy to use. There are alarm modes so you can have the alarm go off all days, just weekdays, or just weekends, but since I only need a second alarm for a later wake-up time on Monday, I suppose I'll just toggle the alarms on and off will when i need them. Each alarm can have different modes. What I wasn't expecting, but what I really liked, is that the buzzer setting is a crescendo signal, so it starts off soft and gets louder. A loud alarm clock makes me scratch the ceiling and I'm very happy with the quieter alarm tone. I also appreciate the low light mode for the screen. It takes up a lot of space, leaving room for books on my bedside table. Haven't seen it work in a power outage yet, but I expect there won't be any problems. I definitely give five stars.
