Our 14 year old Goldendoodle has gotten his belly stuck on hardwood or tile due to weak hind legs and slippery paws. This not only allows him to get up from slippery spots, but also doesn't spend all his energy on it, so wherever he goes, he's happier and happier than before. He removes the ties holding them in place but doesn't seem to care about the socks, which stretch on their own. He usually loses once or twice a day, but we have two sets and he doesn't go so far that we can't find them the next morning. Can't recommend them enough.
