Review on Cardone 20 37776 Remanufactured Domestic Steering by Dean Partybus

I bought this pump to replace the old unit that was in my 1990 Jeep Cherokee and it seemed to work fine and then all of a sudden it became like a manual control. I replaced the pressure and return hoses and flushed the steering gear. Now I get a mixed answer: sometimes it's the power steering and sometimes it's not. The last week the device ran very unstable. I eliminated belt slippage by installing a tension gauge on the belt and setting it to spec. At this point the pump must be defective.
