Review on ❄️ IceTrekkers Diamond Grip Traction Cleats - Enhance Traction & Safety (1 Pair) by John Floyd

ICETrekkers/Yaktrax Diamond grips and sizes

I don't normally write reviews and wouldn't after using a product only once, but I do because others can be similarly confused , just like me. . I ordered ICETrekkers Diamond Grip and received Yaktrax Diamond Grip. The box is different but the cleats are exactly the same as the ICETrekkers except mine are Yaktrax marked. Further confusion - I went to my local REI to get a traction device after having a bad slip on icy trails recently; They weren't my size at ICETrekkers (which I was interested in based on reviews) and the box was clearly the same as ICETrekkers, but online from REI they actually sell Yaktrax Diamond Grip. But don't worry - I called ICETrekkers today and the products were the same. They supply Diamond Grips for Yaktrax. (Makes sense since Diamond Grip is a trademark!). I've used them before to hike nearby slopes with snow and ice and they worked well, really controlled sliding (very little except on the rare very steep parts). ). They're relatively easy to put on, although it takes a lot of stretching to get the rubber all the way up to the edges of the sole so that only the metal chains are in contact with the tread. Remember that for larger shoes you must choose one size larger. The sizes given online are for standard shoes. I bought a medium size to fit my size 8.5 women's walking shoes (as well as my 8.5 padded boots, which are slightly larger). The packaging says to add one size for boots and two sizes for insulated boots (for all Diamond Grips sizes).
