I bought this for my 2-year-old daughter. We love it! We use it every day. It is adorable! The cup design is a little odd; it is very wide. We never use the handles. I wash the set in our dishwasher. Despite the warning not to, I have washed the utensils on the bottom rack of our dishwasher, with no damage. The set seems durable. My daughter is relatively careful and generally doesn't throw things. It might not be a great choice for a young baby (that throws things), as it is made of bamboo. We have dropped a few items a few times. So far, nothing has broken. It would make a nice gift.
