I have a black car and I like to wash it myself. I have a million products from Chemical Brothers, Mcquires, Griot, Mothers etc. In an almost impossible attempt, my car doesn't to twist, I bought this one. Considering I use the two-bucket washing method with quality gloves and pressure-wash the car before I even begin, I know the swirls are from the drying process. Even with the best tea towels or waffle towels, I wasn't happy with the end result. When used correctly, this seems to help and essentially allows the towel to slide more easily while also removing water. I spray a little onto the microfiber, then onto the car and give it a few gentle wipes, switching towels. Definitely a time saver, but I'm not sure if it does anything more than a nice level of detail. It leaves a shine like detail spray but also seems to add a bit more lubrication to help with swirls. I have a white car and honestly can't tell the difference between this and mcquires detail.spray, but on a black car it works better than anything I've tried. UPDATE-. It's really great at drying, saves time and eliminates the frizz caused by lugging towels around in a freshly washed machine.
