Bought two units to replace the 20 year old dinosaur cabinet style flat screen TVs in our RV as we want to pivot and lock the TV for different viewing angles on your TV in place for safe travel between destinations. These mounts seem to serve that purpose well. The units are solidly built and look good and all the necessary hardware for installation is included. After two short rides, both TVs stayed in their locked position after rolling over some small or large bumps, but nothing remotely close to the worst we have experienced (hope never to experience again). There is chatter from the unit adding to the chorus of noise in the house rolling down the freeway but I will work to reduce/eliminate the rattling as on a flat road it was the most constant source of noise as noise Energy is and this energy causes wear and tear.
