I bought this mount for my RV and a 32" TCL Roku TV which I also bought from Amazon. Bolts and then plywood, it will stand up to an RV or any RV ride. However, the description is somewhat misleading. Warning, 100X200MM TCL ROKU IS NOT MOUNTED on it as advertised. Look at the picture of the bracket, it's cut out in the middle top and bottom where it would normally be 100mm. I don't understand how this mount got such good reviews as it doesn't do the job. The mount is designed for installing a TV in a van. Unfortunately, the mount itself weighs about 15 pounds+. Installing this on thin RV walls will flex the wall outward even if you hit the stud as long as the sides of the RV boards are not damaged. Even worse with a TV on it. My TV in my RV was mounted on a retractable bracket but I always didn't want to twist it when traveling. I saw and bought it with good reviews. It's a solid and heavy piece, but the locking mechanism barely moves when it's closed, and a movement out of the way frees the TV for independent travel. I have a 32 inch TV that weighs about 9 pounds and is attached to it. The bracket is then attached to the wall intended for the TV space in my caravan. I got this on purpose because it uses short screws to attach it to the thin walls of the caravan. Although my wall is at least as wide as the length of the mounting screws, once the screws are tightened they go through the wall and end up sticking out a bit. My guess is that tightening the screws pulls the plywood of the mounting wall together…

We bought two units to replace 20 year old dinosaur cabinet style flat screen TVs in our RV Safety when traveling between destinations. These mounts seem to serve that purpose well. I found this TV mount to be excellent quality and the manufacturer supplies almost every possible screw and bolt you could need for most installations . One difficulty I had was that only one size screw was used to attach the wall plate to the wall. Wall thickness is listed as at least 1/2 inch, which is what I have. The problem was that the anchor bolt was only 1 inch long and would stick out the other side of the wall. I ended up using shims to make up the difference. The instructions aren't…

We needed a mount for our RV that we could stow and snap into place. It met all the requirements. He came with detailed instructions. It also came with a well-organized bundle of gear. All were lettered and listed in the manual. I used the included lag screws to get into the wall studs. It also included a small level that came in handy in the RV.
