Baby liked it. We used it until it started rolling and we switched to Zipadee. I wrapped him in a blanket to keep him warm. Velcro fasteners have never bothered him. We built it ready to use so the straps don't get stuck anywhere. But sometimes we made mistakes and I had to undo the velcro. He always slept in it (I put him there when he slept). If he moved while I was wrapping him, I was often able to quickly walk away and rock him back to sleep. Or he would fall asleep immediately as soon as his arms were secured. It's a shame for us that they aren't longer because I have a child in the 98th percentile of length. Therefore, he often kicked the ground and opened it up. You must be careful that the Velcro does not scratch the child's chin. I think it was the edge of the strap. So I pinned it below.
