I usually wash my sheets before laying them on the bed, which I did in cold water with natural washing powder. When I took them out there was a stained discoloration on the sheets. I didn't add any other detergent to the water so there shouldn't be any reason for it to discolour. Then when you sleep on it, the person is super prickly and uncomfortable. I didn't take the sheets off for several nights to see if I just had to get used to it, but no, it didn't get better. In fact, they were so prickly that they disturbed my sleep and I had to change them. As I did so, I could feel the difference in the feel of the soft, smooth sheets compared to these. Needless to say, since I've already washed them and slept on them, I can't return them, so it's a waste of money. The lesson is this: don't buy sheets online if you don't know the brand.
