Review on Monoprice Apple MFi Certified Flat Lightning to USB Charge & Sync Cable - 0.5 Feet (6in) Gray: Compatible with iPhone X, 8, 8 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 6, 6 Plus, 5S, iPad Pro - Cabernet Series by Timothy Gonzalez

Needed a cable to charge the phone in the car. The wire had to be bent a bit at the base of the Lightning connector, but the material used in this cable wasn't made for such a small task. It's a ribbon cable, I understand. Cable housing will be minimal with little insulation BUT there has been little to no use or abuse before this cable failed and intermittently charged on various USB ports. I can't recommend a cable that will break with very light use, so thumbs down for Monoprice's flat cable.
