I hope you have a working key in the ignition and you have one good locksmith or hardware store to trace your key cut. Keeping track of your working key gives you the best chance that your new key will work smoothly. Remember that the original key and ignition cylinder will wear out over time, and the first time you put this new key in a worn ignition cylinder it will be rough. Use a spoke wheel or brush to smooth the raw key and apply a light lubricating gel to the key.
