The only downside is that it doesn't come with clear installation instructions, so it may take some time to figure out. Overall, a great investment to keep my car safe.

This keychain is almost identical to our originals. We are very happy about that. I gave it four stars because the instructions are incomplete or lacking and I thought I could transfer the chip and key from our original. There were no problems with the chip. The new key is off by a millimeter so we can't use our original key and we had to find someone who can cut the new key. After all, the price of a new key will surely exceed $500.

I hope you have a working key in the ignition and you have one good locksmith or hardware store to trace your key cut. Keeping track of your working key gives you the best chance that your new key will work smoothly. Remember that the original key and ignition cylinder will wear out over time, and the first time you put this new key in a worn ignition cylinder it will be rough. Use a spoke wheel or brush to smooth the raw key and apply a light lubricating gel to the key.
