Review on Durable Protection for Apple iPad Air 2 - STM Dux Rugged Case in Black by Cody Michels

I like this case a lot! This is a durable protective case with a beautiful design that gives you peace of mind that dropping your iPad will not damage it. It's beautiful, especially the clear polycarbonate back, and feels good in the hand. Thanks to the unusual locking tab on the front cover and very strong magnets, the cover will not open no matter how you hold the iPad. I would give it five stars if it weren't for these small issues: 1. Although the case is very thin, which is a good thing, it's a bit heavy when you use it to read books.2. The bottom of the case (the part that goes through the speakers) is too flexible and will pull away from the case if you press on it with your thumb or forefinger. It would be better if the thin strips that make up this area could be reinforced a bit or simply removed.3. The large, durable locking tab should slide out between the front and back of the iPad to prevent it from dangling when you hold the device like a book. A better design would be to have the magnets hold it on the back during use. I've learned to close the lid with one hand: simply close the front lid and the magnetic locking tab flips back over and snaps onto the back of the device. Despite the small issues I listed, I would recommend this case to anyone looking for protection, good looks, and a unique design (which I love). You can expect to get lots of nice comments from others who see it.
