This case is acceptable but could be a lot better with a few tweaks. I use it with my Garmin nuvi 2797 and the GPS fits very nicely in the top compartment of the bag. I'm sure it will protect my Nuvi perfectly. My problem is with the zippered part, which I suspect is for my power supply and other accessories. It's just not deep enough to hold a suction cup mount. Difficult to zip up with attachment inside the bag. There is no way to attach it, so all you have to do is apply enough pressure to stretch the divider and deform the suction cup. My suggestion would be to make this case just 1/4" longer and make a slot where the suction cup mount could be placed. The extra length would also allow the mounting space to expand into the space in the lid where you to store the GPS. This would also allow for a smaller body. The power adapter and other accessories just don't take up as much space. It would be more compact and easier to store or carry. If I were to buy it again, I would just buy a thinner unit for nüvi and a separate bag for assembly and adapter.
