Review on 💪 Efficient and Reliable Little Giant VCMX-20ULST 554550 VCMX Series Automatic Condensate Removal Pump: 115V, 1/30 HP with Safety Switch by Peter Mendoza

This little pump has turned out great. I installed it to drain condensate from a portable (now semi-permanent) dehumidifier in our basement. The device is quiet, and the house has to be almost silent to hear it turn on for a few seconds about once an hour. I personally love the sound because every time I hear it works I know I don't have to lug a bucket of water up the stairs! It is very important that you use a pump kill switch to prevent overflow/flooding in the event of a pump failure. It is easy to install as virtually every dehumidifier on the market has a full bucket shut off. I removed the back cover, drilled a small hole, pulled the wires from the full tank switch, routed the wires from the pump and connected them. The safety switch on the pump can easily be changed from normally open (default position) to normally closed if your specific application requires it. full bucket switch so you don't have to do any extra steps to make it portable again (other than turning off the condensate pump and closing the dehumidifier drain valve). Overall I am more than happy with this pump and will likely add it to my laws for their two dehumidifiers.
