This set of light strips was just long enough to cover the entire bottom of my cabinets. I suspect this should be fine for most people. The double sided tape is strong and will hold the strip securely in place. An additional two-sided sensor-only part is also included that is just as durable. The motion sensor itself is very flexible, allowing many different settings to be configured, including sensitivity for day or night, as well as the ability to set how long the LEDs stay on with each trigger. They offer more than enough light at maximum brightness. Took me about an hour to fully assemble everything including drilling holes to hide the wiring but it was worth it!
