I just received and unpacked it today. I was willing to send them back because I loved my Pioneer Rise. Rayz sound great, but they are sensitive to moisture (well, rain and whatnot). I got this Bose pair because of the name and then because of the 'Sport' label. I ride my bike every day, at least 15.5 miles. I do this all year round, in the cold and in the heat, in the rain, in the mud and in the snow. Not only do they sound really amazing (I've tried metal, hip-hop, classic rock and pop), but I can wear them in crappy conditions. My only concern is that traditional headphones usually die below freezing so I assume they will be the same but I think my Rayz will be used for cold as they are powered by the phone itself and I use them have. by 12 degrees. The fit of the earphones is a bit unusual for me, the middle ones seem a bit big, but the small ones are too small, i.e. average. I have tiny ears, I didn't expect the medium to be anything like that. If you buy them make sure they fit you as they sound a lot better. I look forward to not having to wear my headphones in the rain and they still sound amazing. :)
