The device is simply fantastic. the sound quality is excellent. However, I am sending it back. And you should check it before buying. This is a somewhat confusing design. Because it has an optical connector. It is primarily designed to be connected to a home theater or AV receiver. If so, then I don't know why the battery is needed. The presence of the battery begs the question. Can you always charge? Cannot recommend for battery life. So it should be charged regularly? If it is to be connected to a receiver, that is an additional problem. The next problem is that since it's a battery powered device, it will go to sleep if there's no sound playing for a while. One day it will go to sleep. it does not turn on automatically when you start playback on the source device. You have to go all the way. Press the power button for 2 seconds to turn it on. This becomes unwieldy when your setup requires it to be placed in a hidden location behind the sound system. Another issue is that even when connected to USB power, it still goes to sleep. And it's not really a dream. it turns off completely. So there's no way to keep it on all the time unless you're still streaming audio. These usability design issues are causing me to bring this back. Sorry Anker, you should consider doing something without a battery that turns on with the sound system and without manual intervention. Or, if you have a battery, wake it up with an incoming sound.
