Battle for style and comfort: Colorblock Southpole T-Shirt

As the mother of a fashion-forward teenager, I'm constantly on the lookout for clothes that combine style and comfort. The Southpole Boys Colorblock Nylon Big Short Sleeve Tee (aka SP Tee) caught my eye with its bold color scheme and promise of "soft and breathable fabric". However, after testing it on my son, I have mixed feelings. On the one hand, the SP tee looks great on him. The color block design draws attention, while the nylon accents add an on-trend touch. The shirt also runs true to size, which is always handy when ordering clothes online. However, the fabric is not as soft as I expected. While my son didn't complain about any itching or the uncomfortable material, he did mention that the shirt was a bit stiff compared to his other shirts. Another issue we encountered with the SP Tee is the nylon inserts. While they add a unique touch, they also make the shirt less breathable. My son complained of sweating after wearing his shirt for several hours, even in an air-conditioned home. This might be less of a problem in cooler weather but should be taken into account if booking this for the summer. All in all, the Color Block Nylon Big Short Sleeve Tee is by no means a bad shirt. It looks and fits well but lacks comfort and breathability. If your child doesn't mind sturdier fabrics and you live in a cooler climate, this t-shirt might be for you. However, if you value convenience, it might be worth looking elsewhere.

Pros
  • The Southpole Boys Big Short Sleeve Tee features an on trend color block design that will make any boy stand out. Contrasting colors and a unique patch on the front give this t-shirt a fresh and modern look, perfect for everyday wear.
Cons
  • Uncomfortable landing. A large t-shirt size may not be appropriate for boys in the transitional period between 8 and 20, resulting in uncomfortable, ill-fitting clothing.
