First, let me give you a few details: I'm 5'6", weigh about 180 pounds and have a waist of almost 37 inches. That being said, I ordered 2XL based on feedback from other customers. The pattern and fabric are very vibrant in color. This is high quality material and beautiful pattern. It's convenient too. Size 2XL was too big for me. I can wear it on my hips more than my waist. In fact, it falls off when I put it at waist level. But that didn't detract from my satisfaction. The skirt has quite roomy pockets. It's also flattering, albeit a little on the big side. If I went down a size it would probably fit better around the waist but I doubt it would have a huge impact on the overall fit. I keep it. I tried it on with and without the petticoat. I like it anyway. I can't wait to order more of these. I'll probably get this in every template! This is a great skirt for the price! I highly recommend!
