Bought this to be used as a purposely over elegant switch for use in a electronic project I had recently built. While I'm only using it to control 9VDC, and a few hundred milliamps, it functions perfectly. After I made the final case and mounted this to the top, it gives it a nice bit of flare. The LED shines bright, and the rocker case operates very smoothly. Much nicer than cheap flimsy toggle switches!
