I had an old flat screen wall mount for my 40 inch TV and always had a problem with sunlight coming through the window when the curtains were open. I'm disabled, stay at home most of the time and watch or listen to TV quite a bit, so I really missed the opportunity to look outside. I kept opening and closing the curtains when I really wanted to watch TV. I bought a larger TV this year and wanted a mount that tilts enough so I can open the curtains and watch TV without glare. . This one works great. It doesn't tilt and swivel much, but it's perfect for my small living room so everyone can watch TV without distortion. And I can watch TV as well as observe the outside world. I like it! My son took off the old and the new in less than half an hour. And the TV went on as expected. The holes matched perfectly and no rigging or adjustment was required to make it work. The holes are exactly as stated. Also, I bought it from Revain's warehouse and it came in perfect condition with all the parts it was supposed to be. It was a huge plus for my budget and I feel very comfortable for such a great mount. I recommend this mount! I love that I finally have the option to open the curtains during the day while I watch TV.
