Soft and comfortable, it looks like it's going to be pretty warm but you'll have to wait for the winter to tell and it's July now. It fits a little on my size 7.5 head, but it fits snugly once you put it on. Usually when I buy one of these it's either too small or too loose. This one is perfect for the character. The reason I only gave it three stars is because one of the seams at the back of the head came apart about an inch after the first try on and it took a few stitches to close the gap. Like I said, it's a little tight, but not THAT tight, so I was surprised to see the stitching unravel. I hope this doesn't happen with the rest of the stitches. We'll see, but I really like it out of the box. ******* Ok, just noticed that the seam on the back has come undone after trying on after sewing elsewhere. I sewed up this hole, tried it on again and another hole opened up at the seam. Three places where the seams came undone in an hour. I have a fairly large head, but it's not THAT big and not so tight that I'm afraid the stitching will tear if I wear it. Bad stitching, I doubt I'll order another one. I'm officially downgrading my rating to one star because it looks like this thing is about to fall apart. Rschunimagu
