First of all, these look great. I really like the rustic / industrial style and was surprised how heavy they were when they came in. Everything is metal with the exception of the solar panel and the inside light refrlector was a thick frosted glass. The style and quality far exceeded my expectations.I wouldn't say installation was difficult; however, my fence post was 4x4 and when I looked at the description, I was expecting the dimensions to be slightly bigger than 4x4, so I could pop right on the top. The dimensions of the base turned out to be 4x4, so it was the same size of my post, so it did not fit. I had to apply some JB Weld on the top of the post and these lights sit exactly on the top of the post. Overall, it worked out and they look great with the style of my gate doors.
