Perfect for retro-fit

I needed a thin magnetic latch for a slide out destroy I was refinishing. This fit the bill. I only needed to chisel out o very shallow notch for the magnet part and everything worked perfectly. The latch was a needed addition so the top would stay closed when being moved - otherwise it would flip up and down, generally smashing fingers. Not any more!

Pros

Holds my corner cabinet closed after cabinet installer did a poor job.

Cons

The magnets are not strong enough for heavy cabinet doors
