I don't know how it happened but I bought two of these (one for work and one for home) and they both stopped working at the same time. I checked the cord, the outlet they were plugged into, the base and everything seemed fine, but the unit was not getting power. Before they stopped working they seemed to charge fairly quickly and my biggest complaint was that if I leave my phone on overnight I can't just take it out of the unit when the alarm goes off in the morning, I really had to pick up the base station with one hand and the phone with the other to separate them. Now, my biggest complaint is that despite only 3 months of use, both devices no longer work. USB cables are fine when plugged into a computer or power outlet, but the base is useless most of the time. Disappointing.
