I have read the reviews and I understand some of the complaints and why they didn't rate it as highly. I bought them with the terminals already attached and other companies with terminals that I had to solder on. Having never bought from any of these companies I wasn't sure where to go. I wasn't sure what the quality of the preinstalled connectors and the quality of the soldering would be like. The cost of this connector with connectors already installed turned out to be less. Both versions worked perfectly. Sometimes you need to make sure the board and ports are selected in the IDE before trying to upload a sketch. Sometimes I had to download the program a couple of times, but first make sure everything was selected manually. Since both of the companies I selected use the CH340G chip, the IDE doesn't recognize the type of board, nor does it tell you which port it's assigned. So you have to manually select the board and check the ports, and if more than one port is shown, select the last one in this list. Then try to download the program once or twice. Once I did that, I had no more problems downloading the program. So if you sometimes test boards and feel that only 2 or 3 boards out of 5 are working, it may be because the IDE has removed the board and port information and needs to be reset manually. Complaining about the use of white non anti-static foam can be an issue and they should look into this to ensure this product is not damaged when used to protect the pens and are not sure how these boards are attached before soldering the connectors to ensure they are soldered straight so they always match the solderless breadboard. Otherwise the rating will be lower. Since the cost was less I gave them 5 stars as I didn't see any direct issues with my boards. But quality must come first. If the white contact protection foam is not antistatic when the air humidity is low, the panels can be damaged.
