Bought to keep my son's bearded dragon warm. It worked well and kept the temperature of the aquarium as warm as the 75w infrared lamp he had previously used. Reasons I bought this heater over another: less electricity (save money as it runs 24 hours a day) and the UL certification listed in the product description (runs 24 hours a day - wanted something safe). After receiving the product, it is not UL listed. The box and the ceramic heater do not bear the "UL" symbol. Also, I searched the insurers' database for the product and it didn't show up. Looks like a seller error in the product description.
