I've been a little slow testing them on different types of containers but so far they work very well. The smallest pieces are good for canned cat food, the larger ones are good for several different bowls and I love using them in place of cling film. The only downside is that you have to keep the rim of the container dry and free of grease. My husband made the mistake of pouring the leftovers out of the bowl after which we couldn't close the lid. I had to wipe the bowl clean and wash and dry the lid before I could put it back on. Now he's more careful and we haven't had any more problems.
