It's a shame to have to buy a complete $300 vacuum pump from Volkswagen just because they don't have an o-ring, rubber seal and metal rear seal for the pump. I had a horrible leak running all over the oil filter housing and I thought maybe that was the problem or maybe the rear main seal. It was this set of gaskets that needed to be replaced. My biggest leak came from a small o-ring that goes to the back of the pump at the end of the hose. After installing this gasket I pressure flushed everything, rode for 2 weeks and there were no leaks. Buy this kit to be sure you pick it up. A new pump costs $300.
