Review on πŸš— Stander CarCaddie: Portable Nylon Car Assist Device for Safe and Effortless Automotive Standing Aid by Eric Glup

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The product I have needed for 8 years now.

I have used this product on two different vehicles, a 2013 Chevrolet Impala and a 2008 Lexus RX350 for approximately 20 days. The product works perfectly on a 93-year-old woman. After reading some of the negative reviews I was prepared for the handle to slip off when grabbed by the brace, but I did something that made this almost impossible. Here's the trick: Take the ribbon and wrap it twice around the window frame (picture shows it hanging freely without wrapping which may cause it to slip off). If you're familiar with knots, this would be half tie around window frame - btw - half tie is how you tie a horse to a tether post. Close the window after double packing. Between the trailer rubbing the rubber seal of the door and the window pane in the channel, the handle does NOT move. Bonus: the strap is so long that you have enough slack to adjust the height of the handle. When opened, the pen smells quite strong (smell of uncured rubber - Made in China, so be careful), but the smell dissipates about 90% after a few days.

Cons
