Review on πŸ§ͺ Evident MT Plastic Bottles by Will Rahman

Thinner than expected but strong and doesn't seem to leak --- Loved the mounting caps

Homes forever. Our solution is natural, except for detergents, but it causes many bottles, caps and seals to fail. For many of our sizes, we have long committed to PET (PETE) containers. I bought a few of these pitchers because they are PET and fit well in the shipping carton I was trying to fill. The walls aren't as thick as many of the PET containers we use, but I have to say they appear strong even for their thinner stature. .The caps have no liner whereas we usually use caps with a F217 liner which holds up well with our solution. I was concerned the lids would leak despite locking, but was pleasantly surprised; they do not flow upon me, whole and closed (that is, never opened and with a broken seal) or already opened. I filled the jar with our solution, put a lid on it, opened it (broke the "lock"), and then set it aside for three days. No leaks. Anyway, we always shrink wrap our caps, which gives me an even better feeling because these caps don't leak during shipping. We also place each pitcher in a ziplock bag just in case. Note that although these are 38mm lids, the thread pattern is different from the lids you would normally use for 1/2 gallon or gallon jugs. These are not 38/400 capsules. The only thing that bothers me about them is that they don't have a smooth label panel; Both the front and back of the bottle have molded indentations, making the labeling questionable. Considering the price, and despite the label issue, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these bottles and caps. I recommend them.
