Review on Ceramic Honing Comfort Handle Kÿchen by Brianna Quintana

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Poor quality and durability

I bought this to replace my ceramic Messermeister sharpening steel which broke when I dropped it on the tile floor and I am very disappointed in the quality of this steel comparison to the previous . Knife master rod. It feels much lighter and less premium in the hand and gets dirty very easily. I use this product in a butcher shop and after only a few hours of use it is no longer white but rather an ugly yellowish hue. I've tried deleting it with no success. Not only did the Messermeister stick leave no stains, it was also very easy to care for and looked like new after many months of regular use. The ceramic used here is of significantly lower quality. It has grooves running along its surface, while the Messermeister staff was completely smooth. It sharpens knives to an extent, but the quality of this product just doesn't compare to a knife master. Spend about $10 more and get a much higher quality product that will last a lot longer. (Unless you drop it on a hard floor like I did)
