Description of Ceramic Honing Comfort Handle Kÿchen

KEEP IT IN LINE: Nothing dulls the cooking experience than your knife not cutting smoothly. Just a handful of passes on a honing rod will keep your investments aligned and in near-mint condition. GROOVED DESIGN: Gentle, ceramic grit restores the lost edge to curl on a microscopic level that can cause poor performance. COMPACT SIZE: This blade is 8" long, but the entire rod tool is a total of 12", which will take up minimal space in a kitchen of any size. EASY STORAGE: Using the attached hanging loop, you can hang up this tool within reaching distance, or store it in a drawer for quick access. IDEAL FOR KNIFE ALIGNMENT: Honing rods are not designed to sharpen knives. For best results, use this tool for ultra-hard and brittle knives. For low-hardness or high-carbon knives, see our stainless-steel rod

A Cut Above the Rest

This ceramic honing tool is a game changer! Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I've learned that keeping knives sharp is key to efficient food prep... The comfortable handle and durable ceramic material make this honing tool stand out from the rest. The honing process is quick and easy leaving my knives feeling razor sharp. The only con? It's a little pricey, but totally worth the investment for any serious home cook or chef..

Pros
  • Efficiently sharpens and hones knives
Cons
  • Fragile and prone to cracking when dropped or mishandled

Poor quality and durability

I bought this to replace my ceramic Messermeister sharpening steel which broke when I dropped it on the tile floor and I am very disappointed in the quality of this steel comparison to the previous . Knife master rod. It feels much lighter and less premium in the hand and gets dirty very easily. I use this product in a butcher shop and after only a few hours of use it is no longer white but rather an ugly yellowish hue. I've tried deleting it with no success. Not only did the Messermeister…

Pros
  • Home & Kitchen
Cons
  • For the old
