I thought I'd save some money to buy an 'updated' model instead of a new one to see if it's worth it. The tablet itself works great. I've been using it for a month with no problems. They're keyboards. not as much. The first problem that surfaced from the start was that charging via the keyboard port didn't always recognize the charger. Sometimes I have to wiggle, change angles and unplug/plug the charger to charge it. It started out as an occasional thing, but it became a daily problem the more I used it. The charger I received was new in the box so I don't think it's a problem with the charger itself, it works fine just charging the tablet too. Another keyboard issue that has come up recently is the keyboard and touchpad. unresponsive and the only way to get them working again for a while is to unplug the tablet and plug it back in, which seems to clear things up for a while. You will find issues with any refurbished product, especially if they are sporadic issues like mine that may have caused the initial return but can and only are overlooked on a brief test of the item that a tester may have performed discovered with regular daily use. . I have contacted the seller regarding these issues so we will see how they resolve this issue. I hope I can just replace the keyboard and everything will be fine. I will update this review as I make progress! TO UPDATE! The seller told me to contact the separate warranty company they use for any problems, the warranty company told me to contact Microsoft for any problems, Microsoft told me it was no warranty and any service I understand of saying it came out of my own pocket so after a week of running around I decided to just return it rather than deal with a headache. Too bad because it might be a good way to save a few hundred bucks, but in my case it's not worth it. You might have better luck than me, but my advice is to go ahead and just buy a new block.
