Not for me but they seem to have a good foam insole and seem to provide the support my son needs to perform at his best. They seem to have more cushioning than any other pair I've bought and since there are some issues with the tube legs I add an extra layer of liner and it seems to work much better. Much less pain at the end of the exercise.
