Review on Gorilla Crystal Clear Repair Tape, 1.88” X 9 Yd, Clear, (Pack Of 1) by Chris Brazington

This is good, strong tape. I've used it to repair inflatables and it has maintained an airtight seal. I've also used it to close seams on items that would suffer cosmetically from opaque tape.The tape unrolls pretty easily. It's not as easy to get started as masking or duct tape, but it had a lot better adhesion. It cuts easily, but doesn't tear well (again, this is not duct tape, have a knife or scissors nearby). It makes a good seal that strengthen to a solid bond in a couple of hours.One thing you should keep in mind is that this tape will grab a fingerprint off you pretty quickly. This isn't a big deal with most inflatables, but it can be unseemly if you're using this on dark reflective surfaces. You can mitigate this by washing your hands before using the tape or by putting on a pair of rubber gloves. The fingerprint transfer isn't a big deal on most applications, though.This probably doesn't quite have the strength of a dedicated patch kit, but it's help up well for me in a number of relatively low PSI patches.I've never been displeased with Gorilla. When it comes to making two things stick together, they're hard to beat.
