I heard of Gaffer Tape but did not know what it was for. I searched on YouTube and found useful information. This is very useful to have on hand.

It adheres well, and is easy to use. I have purchased this brand previous and will again. I’m very happy with the product.

I really haven't had the chance to see how it is going to hold up in some weather yet I can say it is nice and easy to work with. I'm sure I will use it a lot.

For the company I work for, we do a ton of trade shows. We normally lay our own carpet because the amount the show services charge for carpet is crazy. I cannot use duct tape because it leave a residue, this tape does not! Perfect for my application.

This tape holds very well and is on par with any other Gaff tape I have used in the past, though I have had a few instances where some residue was left by the tape, so I don't know how well it would perform over the long term. The residue rubbed off fairly easily and didn't leave any damage, though Gaff tape is not supposed to leave any residue at all. Again, it was very minor, but still something to consider before buying.

We decorate for Christmas in a historic mansion. This tape is wonderful because it adheres well & will not damage wood surfaces or painted walls.

Gaffer Tape is an extremely versatile tool for Photography. I've used it for securing all sorts of things, from cables to lighting equipment and even backdrops; which it does fantastically, without leaving residue or damaging property that I'll be given a bill for. It's also capable of making numerous repairs to equipment. It really is a must have and I always keep a roll handy these days.

Well, it sure didn't work like i hoped. Easy to cut, use, work with, but.it does NOT stick to either the wood or plastic(like) material i used it on. Peeled up within an hour, whereas the duct tape i put on next to it has stayed secure for three days so far.

Gaffers tape can be expensive, so I decided to try one of the less costly tape options, as I tend to go through it quickly. The tape is durable, and easy to remove. I dinged it one star because it rips unevenly, exposing white fibers from the inside of the tape. That said, if you don't need it to look pretty, this should do the trick. For art direction, or times when I need a cleaner tear, I use scissors which works well enough. Definitely a safe option for most projects.

I worked in theatre. Gaffers tape is so good whoever invented it should be given an award. This tape is strong, way better then duck tape. I used the same length of tape for 5 completely different reasons over a one month period. I'm not stingy, when I took the tape off it was still good so I used it for something else. You name the problem, gaffers tape can fix it.

I’m a photographer with a a small studio space and I needed something to hold my paper backdrops to the floor. This tape worked great with out leaving residue on the wood flooring.

This tape is very easy to work with. Tears from the roll easy. Comes up easy. Very adhesive. Great for a DJ and have even used around the house in the basement. Very pleased.

It's Okay for the price I used it on a big production film project I was doing and I had to use a lot of it. The tape is not the quality of other brands I have purchase but it work okay and I guess I can say for the price it was okay.

I used it on the carpet. It does not shine black color which is good. It matches with the surface. Not easy to see it. Very easy to stick and remove. You do not need to use a scissor to cut it.

I only learned about gaffers tape a few months ago and I have found it to be one of the greatest things ever. Duct tape is trash compared to this. I don't know how well it holds "long term" I think it is meant to be used more short term. But it's awesome.

If the sticky side gets dirty it will not hang on, and so far the most reuse I get is two. With that out of the way this is the toughest fabric tape I have used. I guess someone else may have something to say about that but I am not a puller or gaffer or grip so. they might know better than I do. For personal studio use this works well enough.
