just got it and installed it. It's quite cheap. It turns in the ground pretty well and it's strong. Two adults hitting the ball with full force barely moved it. The ball itself is fine too. True, there are some design flaws. I have found that the bar weakens after a while. Also trying to level the base perfectly is a challenge, especially in the ground and in a backyard that has seen better days. I recommend using weatherproof durable tape where the poles unscrew and eventually glue the base in place if you have the time. You should definitely not leave children unattended when they are playing because they could grab the bar, kick it or something. I am confident that with enough weight and strength, the barbell will bend. In fact, the instructions say never to hang it on a rack. As said, it's a great device for the price, but if you use it carefully it will last a long time. If you want something more reliable and hassle free, save some money and get a permanent install or buy one of the more expensive portable ball rope kits. Oh, and buy a spare ball. If, like me, you're tired of untying the ball and taking it inside (ie, lazy), then count on your ball and rope to only last a summer.
