I love the added strength and low stretch of this cable. I used it to set up a hammock suspension line and learned a thing or two about its behavior. UHMWPE has an extremely low coefficient of friction (it's very slippery), so make sure the knots you tie with this cord are jam-proof. I tied an eight, but even that was very difficult to remove. As it jammed, pulling the end of the cord through the stuck part of the knot generated quite a bit of heat, which severely damaged the fibers. UHMWPE has very low heat resistance. Now that I know these characteristics I will order another coil and be more careful. I don't expect any problems this time.
